Ramón Sota Golf Course is located in Agüero (Marina de Cudeyo). Designed by Seve Ballesteros, it features nine par-3 holes and a private practice hole for lessons. The course has a par of 54, a Course Rating of 54.9, and a Slope Rating of 87. Many golfers refer to it as “Mini Augusta”, a testament to its beauty and the outstanding design created by two-time Masters Champion Severiano Ballesteros Sota.

The course is suitable for children, golfers of all handicap levels, and professionals alike. Its fast and superbly maintained greens offer a balanced challenge, while the ever-present breeze demands precision on approach shots. A missed green often requires a recovery worthy of Seve himself, the course’s designer.

The total length of the course from the yellow tees is 2,386 metres. Two lakes are incorporated into the layout and come into play on four of the nine holes, adding both strategic interest and visual appeal. Ramón Sota Golf Course also offers a driving range measuring 220 metres in length and 150 metres in width, as well as dedicated approach and putting practice areas.

Finally, the course is set within a truly beautiful natural environment. Surrounded by rolling green hills, traditional farmland, and grazing livestock, players can enjoy breathtaking views that stretch across lush meadows to the distant horizon.
