Although the cave contains rock art, it is not included in the tour because it is located between 600 and 1,200 meters deep, and because its karst system remains active with underground water streams. In fact, on heavy rainy days, the river gushes back from its depths, flowing beneath the 150-meter footbridge that visitors cross during the tour. Its spectacularly sized mouth emerges from a lush Cantabrian holm oak forest of great ecological value. Inside, an audiovisual presentation kicks off the visit, accompanied by a water, light, and sound show that transports us into the heart of the cavity while narrating the history of this cave and others in the region, from Prehistory to modern times.
