The most beautiful villages in Cantabria
The Association of the Most Beautiful Villages in Spain—which includes 122 towns —has eight Cantabrian towns on the list: Liérganes, Santillana del Mar, Bárcena Mayor, Potes, Carmona, Comillas and Mogrovejo.
Rural towns, grouped under the same quality mark
The aim of this association is to publicize small towns, preferably rural towns, grouped under the same quality mark, through promotion actions and cultural events undertaken by the association inside and outside Spain.
