The most beautiful villages in Cantabria

The Association of the Most Beautiful Villages in Spain, which includes 111 towns and villages throughout the national territory, has seven Cantabrian villages on its list: Liérganes, Santillana del Mar, Bárcena Mayor, Potes, Carmona, Mogrovejo, and Comillas.

The association’s objective is to promote small, preferably rural, municipalities grouped under a single quality brand, through promotional activities and cultural events that the association undertakes both within and outside of Spain.
